Course Content includes -
- Background information on the symptoms & diagnosis of the Autism Spectrum Disorders
- The difference between Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome & Semantic Pragmatic Disorder.
- It covers behavioural traits of autistic children and practical strategies to help compensate for their difficulties.
- It also covers a brief overview of different treatment approaches such as T.E.A.C.C.H, P.E.C.S, SON Rise, Lovaas, Behaviour Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy & more.
This is an optional course available to childminders.
